Lisa Angelina is an audiologist providing hearing tests, hearing aids, and other hearing care services in Asheville, NC.
Since 2004, Dr. Lisa Angelina has called Asheville home, where she lives with her husband and two daughters. Together, they love exploring the Biltmore Estate, hiking the beautiful mountain trails, and enjoying performances at the Diana Wortham Theatre. WNC Audiology is proud to sponsor the theatre’s hearing loop system, which delivers sound directly from the stage to hearing aids, helping community members experience the arts more fully.
Education and Training
Dr. Angelina began her audiology journey at San Diego State University, where she earned her Master of Arts degree in 1994. She later went on to complete her Doctorate in Audiology from AT Still University, further deepening her expertise in hearing science and patient care.
Professional Experience
Over the years, Dr. Angelina has worked in a variety of settings that have shaped her well-rounded approach to audiology. She has served in private practices and ENT offices, where she focused on diagnostic evaluations and advanced hearing aid fittings. She has also worked with the VA Medical Center and Buncombe County Schools, giving her valuable experience in serving veterans and supporting children with hearing needs.
Passion for Helping Adults Hear Better
While her career has taken her through many areas of audiology, Dr. Angelina especially enjoys working with adults who are ready to take charge of their hearing health. Her patients often comment on how comfortable she makes them feel, and how she helps them feel confident (even excited) about treating their hearing loss.
Better Hearing, Better Balance
At WNC Audiology, Dr. Angelina lives out her belief that better hearing leads to better balance in life. She takes time to listen, answer questions, and create personalized care plans that fit each person’s lifestyle and goals.
Her mission is simple: to help every patient reconnect with the sounds, conversations, and experiences that make life richer.
